Youth Code Camp
Kids use technology every day. Imagine what they could create with tech. Kids can learn to code video games, build websites, design animations, and engineer robots.
Scratch is the world’s largest coding community for children and a coding language with a simple visual interface that allows young people to create digital stories, games, and animations. Scratch is designed, developed, and moderated by the Scratch Foundation, a nonprofit organization.
Learn to Code & Change the world
Learning to code helps children develop important computer skills as well as programmatic thinking like problem solving, project design, self-expression and collaboration. They’ll gain confidence, and have fun with other kids with similar interests. From coding and game building, to STEM and robotics – your kids will be inspired to change their world!
The Floor is Lava
This is an example of a simple platform game that students can learn to build in our 3-video Scratch course. They’ll learn step-by-step how to logically apply code blocks to help their game’s character walk, jump, and dodge obstacles. Go ahead – click on the green flag and use your arrow keys to move back and forth and jump – but remember the Floor is Lava!

Summer Programs
Students gain the computer science skills they need to make an impact and prepare for tech careers in our free, virtual summer programs. Summer program participants get exposure to tech jobs, meet leaders in tech careers, and find community in our supportive sisterhood; all while investing in their future self.
We are partnered with Girls Who Code to invite girls to learn STEM and to help close the gender gap in tech.
Opening Doors & Building Community
“Tinkering on computers with my dad, building forts with my brother, and creating art projects were such incredible memories for me growing up. Looking back I wish I had been given more access to tech and STEM activities. It’s my joy to open doors for kids and build our community.” – Kori Ashton | Founder
“Growing up I always knew I was going to pave my own path. From working in tech, driving an 18-wheeler, to owning my own business, I’ve done it all. I wish I’d had a program like this growing up to foster those talents.” – Steffinie Blankenship | Lead Instructor
